Baraka-Gardens offers retreat holidays in the Sinai mountains, in beautiful Bedouin organic gardens with restored ancient stone buildings, functioning as mini-ecolodges. The retreats are simple but adequate, built mostly using traditional and natural techniques and materials, and are located in or next to organic gardens and orchards. They consist of small stone huts, shady sitting places covered with cane or palm leaves - the arisha -, cooking facilities, water wells and pools, simple showers and composting toilets. The gardens are found in different, but equally spectacular surroundings; some are located in big, open sandy plains; some along rocky wadi floors with stone huts resting above in the hills; others in secluded mountain top basins with spectacular views. They are ideal for a relaxing stay, to slow down and absorb nature. They are also a highly suitable location for groups undertaking workshops, courses or retreats focused on meditation, yoga, healing or various other activities. You can relax in the garden or at beautiful spots, look-out points, small secluded basins found around each garden retreat. If you wish to go on walks further away, there is always a guide at your service, and you can discover the area and other garden retreats at your own pace.
